Parent and Student Contract

Beaumont Library provides a tutoring service where we connect honours students to younger students in need of homework help. This is an opportunity for tutors to gain mentorship skills and students to improve their studies through lesson/homework help. This is not a professional tutoring program.

Typically our tutors can meet once or twice each week depending on their schedules. Sessions are for one hour.

The rate for tutors is $12/hour. Rates are to be prepaid monthly directly to the tutor for each session. Tutors must be contacted at least the evening prior should a student be unable to make it to their session.

Sessions are to be confidential, discussed only with the parents, tutor, or the coordinator:

We ask that parents/students let the coordinator know if they are encountering problems.
We ask that parents inform the coordinator when regular sessions end.
