How do I Donate Books to the Library?

What You Can Donate

Our Library accepts donations of new or gently used materials at our circulation desk during open hours of business throughout the year.

We accept:

• Books, new or gently used; fiction or non-fiction, published within the last 15 years

We do not accept:

• Items in poor condition (e.g., soiled, moldy or damaged)
• CDs/Audio CDs
• DVDs/Blu-Rays
• Textbooks
• Encyclopedias
• Magazines
• Outdated Audiovisual materials (e.g., VHS)
• Periodicals (e.g., journals)

Where to Donate

Donated items must be packaged; we will accept a maximum of 1 box or bag at one time. If your donation is larger, please contact our Donations Staff.  

Once Items are donated, we reserve the right to determine whether the material will be added to our collection, to our on-going book sale, or donated further.
