Curbside Pickup

On September 15, the Government of Alberta announced a state of public health emergency as well as new restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  We are retaining our curbside pickup service for patrons who may prefer contact-free services. You can place holds on library material and use our curbside pick-up service to retrieve your materials from the Library.  For more information on our COVID-19 Guidelines click here.

How do I use curbside pickup?

1)   Place holds on all the awesome material you would like to borrow at or at

2)   You will continue to receive TRAC notifications from the Library via email, phone call, or text, that your hold has arrived.  Please call 780-929-2665 to make an appointment to pick up your hold.

3)   At your designated pick-up time, come to the library and pull up to the curb closest to the building.

4)   Open your trunk and get back inside your car

5)   Call (780) 929-2665 to let us know you are here

6)   Have your ID ready to show us through your closed window

7)   A library staff member will bring your items out to your car, check your ID through the window, and place your items in your trunk!

How long can I keep my material?

You can return material to our outdoor return chute 24 hours a day, or the drop box inside the Library during our regular business hours.

I have material already checked out that I would like to return to the library. Can I do that?

Yes, please! If you have material to return to the library, you may do so during your visit, either before or after staff bring you your holds. Our outdoor return chute is open and you can place item returns in this chute, or hand it to staff to take into the Library.
