In support of CMHA Mental Health Week, Family Counselling Centre and the Beaumont Library are featuring an awesome display of materials recommended by experienced mental health clinicians from May 1 to May 7, 2023. Check out the great selection to gain insight into some top ten concerns.

Coming in May, our 4th annual City-Wide Scavenger Book Hunt. Watch for the clues released on our Facebook and prepare for the hunt! Each clue will be released on Tuesdays & Thursdays starting May 16 and will point you to a location somewhere here in Beaumont... locate the poster, scan the QR code, and follow the instructions to be entered to win a great library prize! Family fun for everyone.

Kids, Grade 4-7, bring a friend and come to BYO Book Club, Wednesday, May 3, 3:45-5:00 pm for fun activities & book chat. Registration is required but drop-ins are welcome.

Seniors Corner, Tuesday, May 9, 1:00 pm welcomes Author & Stroke Overcomer Christina Jackson as she shares her journey. Registration is encouraged but drop-ins are welcome.

HomesCool Connections showcases The Beaumont and District Heritage Society's DVD ‘Following in Their Footsteps: The Story of Beaumont's Pioneers from the 1880s to 1950’ on Tuesday, May 16, 1:00-2:00 pm. Families with children, Grades 3-9, join us for this interactive presentation. Registration is required.

Not My Mom’s Book Club is for youth, Grades 7-12. Drop in and check us out on Wednesday, May 17, at 4:00 pm.

Drop in to our Plant & Seed Share! Saturday, May 20, 1:00-3:00 pm. Saving and sharing seeds & plants is a great way to add fresh flower faces to your garden. Do your lilies need splitting? Bring in your extras. Does your garden need plants? Come pick up some perennials. Come rain or shine and join us for this great opportunity to connect with neighbors. Bring your children as we host Discover, How does your Garden Grow? Join us for some fun planting projects alongside our Plant & Seed Share. No registration required.

Needing a new adventure, some passion or mystery in your life? Our Annual Book Sale has lots of chills, thrills, & deals. Join us Friday, May 26, 10 am-6 pm, Saturday, May 27, 11 am-4 pm, & Sunday, May 28, 11 am-2 pm, and find some fun! As part of Beaumont Days, we are hosting Draw It with Pride on May 27, 1:00-3:00 pm. Join local artists and try your hand at fun make and take art projects. Chalk a square on our plaza and check out the window art supporting upcoming June Pride created by young adults from the high school and the local community. Drop-in event, no registration is required. Come join the fun!
